Henry Marshalson is forced to return to the United Kingdom due to a deadly car accident that occurred to his brother Sandy.

Cato Forbes, a Roman Catholic priest is suffering for having lost his faith in God.

Cato fell in love with a seventeen year old named  Beautiful Joe.

This young boy has had a very difficult childhood, he wants to be a gangster, Cato is doing all possible to save him.

Cato is forced by Joe to write a ransom letter to Henry, he must pay a sum of money.

Henry delivers part of the ransom to Joe, the second will be delivered by the sister of Cato, Collette Forbes.

Beautiful Joe will try to rape Collette, she will be saved by Cato who will kill his loved one Beautiful Joe.

Henry falls in love with Stephanie Whitehouse,  she tells him that she is  a sex worker. Collette Forbes loves Henry; she will write to him a love letter, at the end Henry will marry Collette.
