Was the Neolithic a Revolution?

My personal interpretation of “Revolution” concern the considerable technological and sociological change between the Mesolithic and Neolithic periods in Britain.

In this essay in a chronological order, I’ll develop the transition from Hunting and Gathering to the early part of the Neolithic, with a particular focus on the differences between the Mesolithic and Neolithic, their lifestyles, and how farming came to be established.

At the end of this essay I’ll write a short paragraph about an ancient civilisation, that lived where I live now: The Picenes.
