Euthyphro
Euthyphro is a dialogue between Socrates and Euthyphro, concerning the meaning of piety and impiety, in order to understand if the Athenian court can understand the nature of piety and impiety in order to condemn Socrates for having corrupted the young.
As we know Socrates is a great philosopher and Euthyphro has the reputation of being a wise person and a diviner.
The aim of Socrates is to understand through questions,if this man is really wise, the question is "What is Piety?" Socrates is never satisfied by his reply, maybe because every human with a limited vocabulary cannot explain in full its meaning, and in this dialogue this question is still open, has to say that we cannot translate into words what it really means.
Undoubtedly in this dialogue Socrates has not indocrinate the thinking of Euthyphro, because his aim is that this young man must find its own definition of what is piety, and this is possible only through the dialogue.
In conclusion only God knows what is piety, but as humans we can have a taste of its meaning and this is possible through the dialogue its shadows who will change every minute.
