Poem Reviews: She Walks In Beauty (By Lord Byron)
She walks in beauty, like the night
of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that's the best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes;
Thus mellowed to that tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies.
One shade the more, one ray the less,
Had half impaired the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress,
Or softly lightens o'er her face;
Where thoughts serenely sweet express,
How pure, how dear their dwelling - place.
And on that cheek, and o'er that brow,
So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,
The smiles that win, the tints that glows,
But tell of days in goodness spent,
A mind at peace with all below,
A heart whose love is innocent!

In the first verse, Byron describes the essence of female beauty, that are, her eyes.
Through his eyes Byron, sees in her soul, the evil and the good, but this paradise, is ephemeral, it has a time.
In the second verse, we know that, Byron, ignores her name, each of her hair has a black shade, they are also bright and soft.
He reads her thoughts, that express serenity and beauty.
In the last verse, Byron, describes, her smile, she has the best of him, because, there is a direct link with her heart, who expresses her true love, for him.
