Literary Criticism: The Raven

 

The main argument of this gothic poem written by Poe is the anguish for the death of Lenore. 

The anguish is persistent, a regular ticking with the same intensity aimed at destabilizing the brain with a great ally the time.

The passage of time does not soothe the pain but keeps it always alive until the end of life, and the the raven who tells the same thing, in order to emphasize his pain. the time will never soothe the pain, indeed even time will torture this man forever.
