Space Fiction: Cassini - Huygens Voyage
After twenty years of voyage, the Cassini- - Huygens landed on the surface of Titan, a moon of Saturn. On earth was a Friday 15 of the year 2017 at 1:00 pm many Americans were busy at work. Immediately after the landing the solar panels were opened, with the task of charging the batteries, after a considerable number of hours, the space probe was fully functional.
The sister Huygens had been immersed into the Saturn atmosphere, here the sky isn't blue, but it's yellow - brown, a very strange mix of colours, with many shadows. Between the rings of Saturn had been photographed a little blue point, a great satisfaction after having travelled 3.5 billion km for twenty years. The beauty of Titan is frozen, it's a sort of a mother who takes care of neverseen lakes and seas, most scientists think that under the ice there are the ingredients to host some form of life. On the surface are visible the rings of Saturn and the other satellites, but here it is not simple, there are violent lightning storms day and night. Certainly every form of life automatically adapts to the host planet only in the underground.
Here the form of life as a lack of beauty, it cannot see the sunsets nor the rings and the moon's, here there's only rocks. In our galaxy the life form will try to carve the rocks using their experiences. Saturn is a gaseous planet, there isn't any ground to land on but there are dense clouds which slow down the vertical fall of the spacecraft. During the crossing the clouds change colours with unpredictable shadows, never seen on the planet earth.
