InterActiveNovels: Hungerford Bridge (London)

I started to cross the Hungerford bridge in London completely alone but cheered by the singing of the seagulls, I didn't see them due to the very thick fog, I was afraid of being hit by their shit. They were close to me. On my right I saw a man dressed in black leaning on the railing.

I went close to him; my sensation was that he or she was intended to commit a suicide.

He looked at me and smiled, he was a priest, he was Cato Forbes.

I jokingly told him that London was beautiful from here, a second smile in no time, for him I was no longer a stranger.

On my right hand he saw a copy of Anna Karenina, he asked me my opinion about this novel.

I reflected for a while then I told him that Anna Karenina represents the true love and his boyfriend the happiness.

I told him to explain better, well I told him that it was a very difficult question, then I took courage and told him that love has a very short duration that cannot be replicated. After a short pause I told him that for me Anna committed suicide for lack of love and egoism.

The light was dimming, below us was a wooden boat with its sails furled.

On the boat we saw a fisherman completely still, patiently waiting for a breath of wind to return to shore.

I told Cato that this man will remain here overnight, how is that possible that there aren't the oars?

in a low voice, he told me that he too was in the same situation and that the wind will never come.
